Augmented Reality for the Management of Microclimate Variability in Greenhouses

The research aimed to create an augmented reality-based medium to provide farmers with updated information on the environmental conditions inside greenhouses. Information on microclimate variability, collected by a network of real-time transmitting nodes, was transmitted in graphical form. Overlapping the spatial distribution of temperature and humidity data on the images captured by the cell-phone camera resulted in a framed visualization of the greenhouse microclimate situation.
