Intelligent Armor: Metal Object Detection in Robotics Using IoT

In order to increase efficiency and simplify tasks in our daily lives, robot integration will be a key component. Robotics have made life easier for humans, both in the industrial manufacturing sector and in the household sector. In the field of defence, robots are becoming a more important component of the battle field. In recent years, there have been a number of incidents regarding military disasters and fatalities around the world, leading to a need for innovative solutions to protect soldiers from these incidents. As a result of their use in military applications, robots have been proven to reduce danger and save lives. We propose in this paper to develop a robotic system that can be used to locate hidden weapons as well as land mines along borders which offer a method for their detection. Detection and monitoring of the system will be available in real-time thanks to the installation of a live camera. This remote-controlled robot is composed of a control unit, a processor, a variety of sensors to detect landmines and a control unit that controls them. With the deployment of robots on battlefields and border regions, there will be a significant reduction in the death toll from landmines as a result.
