Construction of a Motion Data Collection System for Mobile Device Heart Rate Monitoring

The heart rate monitoring system is a system based on modern optical technology and computer communication methods. Its main function is to collect real-time physiological data of the human body, analyze motion information, and obtain motion patterns. This article first introduced the research background, significance, and current development status at home and abroad. Then, the heart rate detection method and its principle based on mobile devices were elaborated in detail. Through experiments, the mathematical expression of pulse beating was obtained and converted into corresponding pulse signals to obtain necessary relevant numerical indicator values. Finally, a hardware platform was constructed using a microcontroller in the software and tested. The experimental results showed that the heart rate monitoring system could accurately obtain human heart rate information, with an accuracy rate of 95% or above in normal state and 92% or above in exercise state. The system had high accuracy for heart rate detection in different states. This shows that the accuracy and reliability of heart rate monitoring algorithm for mobile devices are continuously improving. By improving the algorithm and sensor technology, the accuracy of heart rate monitoring is improved, which is close to the level of traditional heart rate monitoring instrument. Mobile devices can collect and record movement data, such as steps, distance, speed and calorie consumption. These data can help users better understand their exercise ability and progress, so as to make a more reasonable fitness plan.
