Analysis for the Influence of Power Grid Peak Shaving Costs on Power Grid Investment and Development

With the large-scale integration of renewable energy, power balance in the electricity system is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain. The stability of the power system is closely related to its level of peak shaving. Therefore, this paper aims to calculate the cost apportionment mechanism for peak shaving and study its impact on power grid investment. By employing the system dynamics modeling method, this paper investigates the critical challenges of peak operation in the power grid, extrapolates the investment strategies and cost apportionment of various entities in the grid over a long time scale, and constructs feedback loops between them. Based on this model, the paper analyzes the development of the power grid under multiple scenarios and proposes targeted recommendations.
