A Trust-Based Security Mechanism for Low-Power Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks

A proper node as cluster head (CH) in cluster analysis for Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks (MWSN) primarily benefits network longevity. It's tricky to pick the right CH defence while considering the potential consequences. After making a choice between potential CHs, MWSN seldom takes a selector approach into account. In this study, researchers provide a trust-based security protocol (EE-TSP) that minimizes wasted energy. In order to create a safe CH-selecting method that uses as little energy as possible, it calculated the weight of each node. Because its total weight is based on multiple measures, including sensing node confidentiality behavior that promotes a safe choice of a CH, the node in question is never malicious. Even if the rest of the factors are in their favor, the most accurate measure permits the proposed clustering algorithm to stay ahead of any malevolent node in the region. Time, connectivity, and distance between sensors are three other variables for each node. The process of selecting CHs by voting by the membership nodes is complete. Preliminary findings generated by modeling the efficacy of the proposed method demonstrate the average avoidance rate of harmful nodes like CH, energy effectiveness, and several other performing criteria.
