Analysis of Factors Affecting the Amount of Solid Waste and Suggesting Guidelines for Solid Waste Management in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

This research aims to investigate and analyze the factors influencing the quantity of municipal solid waste generated in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province. Utilizing the government data catalog, we develop an information system to identify suitable models for managing municipal solid waste in the area. This system facilitates decision-making for provincial authorities, enhancing waste management efficiency. The analysis considers several waste-related factors, such as annual waste generation, waste utilization, recycling, disposal quantities, disposal locations, and waste management expenses. The study underscores that municipal solid waste significantly impacts Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province's local economy and living conditions. The research findings guide provincial authorities in making informed decisions, addressing the issue, and planning strategies to improve waste management. This may involve optimizing waste management systems, reducing waste generation, promoting recycling, and encouraging greater utilization of waste resources, all aimed at minimizing environmental impacts and fostering sustainable development.
