Climate Change Megaprojects - End-User Evaluation of Maldive Floating City and Oceanix Busan

We can describe the functioning of our global economy with several axioms. There is only one world economy in which no one can be independent of its processes. In this global system, interdependence is growing, but it is not only economic actors or countries that influence each other, but also the environment and all living things that are closely linked to it. If we say that there is only one world economy, we must also say that there is only one natural environment, whose values and assets we must protect and safeguard by all means. Damage, waste or squandering of environmental values and resources can have irreversible consequences that can have a profound impact on our future. The 21st century has presented humanity with many challenges. We are not only dealing with the effects of COVID-19 or war conflict, but also with global processes that will leave their mark on all of us. Global warming or climate change are processes that did not start today. Often we do not sufficiently understand the terribly profound consequences of this, which will only really be felt in the near future. The present study is concerned with whether there is a solution that can provide an adequate response to this challenge. This paper analyses and presents projects whose impact and results could serve as a good example for all in tackling climate change. After an introduction to the literature, the results of a primary research are presented and the main conclusions are drawn. Its main message is that climate change is everyone's business and that everyone can do something in their own field, at work or in their own lives to stop this process, which is having disastrous consequences.
