Examining Attitudes Towards Digital Solutions Among Generation Z

Managing in the digital space is one of the most important skills today. The massive digital transformation requires skills that economic actors need to develop from a very young age. Generation Z is often referred to as the internet generation, as they have been brought up with mobile phones, for whom the use of mobile communication devices and with them digital solutions is a basic skill. However, there are also significant differences within the generation. Digital solutions are becoming increasingly embedded not only in everyday life but also in work and education. The aim of our study is to investigate attitudes towards digital solutions among young people in secondary school according to subjective perceptions of digital awareness and knowledge, level of study and year of education. Our aim is to show the similarities and differences that can be captured between young people on this topic. We want to identify the factors and elements that can be built upon to develop greater awareness and security among young people in order to help them to cope more effectively and safely in the digital space.
