On the Feasibility of Soft Magnet Array for Switch Application

Soft magnetic materials have the advantages of good softness and flexibility, and can be used in the fields of soft robotics, actuators, flexible electronics and other fields. They can also be used for soft magnetic switches according to their actuating and sensing mechanism. At present, most switch materials are hard materials, with poor flexibility and impact resistance. In some application scenarios, it is hoped that switches have better flexibility and flexibility in terms of materials and actuation. Based on the rapid development of soft magnetic materials, the emergence of soft magnetic switches further expands the application of soft magnetic materials in the fields of sensing and actuating. This paper proposes an array structure with multiple magnetization directions, and reports a soft magnet switch array for planar surface applications.
