The Design of a Speed Controller for Switched Reluctance Motor Based on Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Control

Switched reluctance motor (SRM) is nonlinear and coupled, so it is difficult to construct an accurate motor model and adopt the traditional linear system control strategy directly. In this paper, the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model is proposed to describe SRM linear state space. A robust controller is designed according to the internal model principle. The state feedback control law is obtained, aiming to achieve the expected closed-loop poles. In terms of PWM control, the proposed control strategy can be applied to the SRM. The simulation results show that this method can track the desired angular velocity well, reduce the influence of external disturbances, and have good robustness in the case of parameter and load torque fluctuations.
