Dynamic Individual User-Based Threshold Scheduler to Improve Error-Rate Performance for Multiuser MIMO System

Dynamic individual user-based threshold scheduler (DIUBTS) is proposed to improve the Multi-User Multi-Input Multi-Output (MU-MIMO) wireless network error rate performance. This scheduler overcomes the limitations of many threshold schedulers. The Proposed DIUBTS scheduler achieves better resource engagement with its new way of setting threshold for individual users. This scheduler is demonstrated with S-T-B-C encoding and hard decision decoding techniques The primary motive of DIUBTS scheduler is to reduce Bit Error during transmission and to increase the data delivery in addition with proper resource usage. The DIUBTS permits the multiple users to use wireless channels for sending their information based on their previous visit channel SNR (signal to noise ratio). Simulation compares this scheduler performance with other scheduling schemes such as Priority Scheduling (PS) and Threshold based fair scheduling. Conclusion: The obtained results prove that DIUBTS has significant improvement in average bit error rate performance as compared to the Priority scheduling schemes and Threshold based fair scheduling scheme. The obtained DIUBTS significant value for BER performance is 0.02(2 tailed value) and for PDR performance is 0.02 which is less than p<0.05.
