Current Fed Dual Bridge DC to DC Converter for Electrical Vehicle Applications

Power electronics devices are commonly used for many applications. The DC-to-DC converter is one of the most common uses. DC to DC converters is typically employed in a wide range of applications, such as systems that rely on renewable energy sources. A few examples of the numerous DC to DC circuits that exist are boost, buck, chopper, etc. In this work, a twin bridge DC to DC converter is used to create variable DC voltage at the load bus. The proposed topology can make the output less than or more than the input. This research develops a novel pulse width modulation (PWM) technique for operating the dual bridge DC to DC converter. OPAL-RT devices establish hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), which presents a variety of outputs.
