Advanced Forest Fire Alert System with Real-time GPS Location Tracking

The advanced forest fire alert system with real-time GPS location tracking is a cutting-edge solution designed to enhance forest fire detection and response capabilities. This system leverages state-of-the-art technology to provide real-time monitoring of forested areas, enabling the rapid identification of potential fire outbreaks. By integrating GPS location tracking, the system ensures accurate and timely positioning data, facilitating swift deployment of firefighting resources to the exact location of the fire. This study presents the architecture, components, and operational workflow of this innovative system, highlighting its potential to revolutionize forest fire management. The proposed system primarily centers around the development of a fire detection system utilizing the ESP 32 microcontroller, which is interconnected with an MQ3 sensor, a flame sensor, and a Neo 6m GPS module. Initially, these two sensors will be deployed within forested areas to identify occurrences of fire and smoke. Upon detection of fire or smoke, the GPS module will be activated to pinpoint the location. Through the utilization of the GPS module, the detected location of fire or smoke is transmitted via the Blynk app, and an alarm is triggered. In contrast to the current method, wherein sensors transmit information about potential forest fire locations to an Arduino for subsequent GPS-based detection and SMS alerting via GSM, this proposed system streamlines the process by integrating real-time GPS tracking and immediate alerting through the Blynk app.
