Risk Avoidance System of Unmanned Surface Vehicle Based on GeoNetworking Communication Mode

In this paper, a risk avoidance system of unmanned surface vehicle (USV) based on the GeoNetworking communication mode (GEO mode) is introduced by authors. The risk avoidance system of USV adapted to the GEO communication mechanism is designed and constructed according to the practical requirements of the USV risk avoidance scenario. The system structure mainly consists of ship hull, GEO routing base station module, shipborne routing module, GEO warning area information transmission program, and network bridge communication module. The structure, functional features, and framework of the system will be introduced. And through practical experiments on water, the effectiveness of the system is verified. The USV risk avoidance system is designed to carry out the information transmission of the danger area in GEO mode and perform the USV risk avoidance mission by analyzing the information.
