Optimizing Purchase-to-Pay Processes Through Process Mining and Data Analysis

This research analyzes data in the Purchase-to-Pay process, analyzing data for improving and increasing efficiency in financial operations and disbursement of organizations through the Fluxicon Disco program and using the Fuzzy Miner algorithm for analysis. Workflows greater than 30 days are points A-I, the criteria for which more than 30 days is required. From the average time to the number of cases in each process. After the analysis, it was found that the main problem at Point C is the Record Invoice Receipt step to the Clear Invoice step, which is the most time-consuming step. The average time taken is 43.8 days, which suggests that bottlenecks have arisen in this work process. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the work process in this respect. Quality control of the data entering the Purchase-to-Pay process should be managed. The system must monitor and control the data to prevent problems that may arise so that employees can understand and operate correctly and efficiently as much as possible.
