A Summary Of The Development Of Autonomous Vehicle

The emergence of automatic driving can improve transportation efficiency, improve travel safety, and achieve fast, safe and efficient travel. However, the research progress of autonomous vehicle in various countries is different. In order to help researchers understand the research status, development trends, hot issues and existing research results in this field, so as to improve research efficiency, this paper introduces the development status of autonomous vehicle. Based on the research background and the development status of autonomous vehicle technology, this paper briefly describes the development status of automated driving technology testing in China, and selects four typical countries and regions (the United States, Europe, Japan and China) to introduce the development status of technology. In addition, this paper analyzes the challenges encountered in the development of autonomous vehicle from five aspects: safety, laws and regulations, ethics, privacy protection and social acceptance, and summarizes the possible solutions. The research shows that governments and technology companies of all countries have a strong interest in autonomous vehicle and have invested a lot of resources in research. At present, this field is developing very fast, and the problems caused by it will be overcome one by one.
