Flexible Loads Participate in Distributed Trading Market Research

With the continuous development of Chinese electricity market reform and opening the distributed transaction market, allowing multi-players such as load-side resources to participate in market competition has become a new trend in the development of Chinese electricity market. The participation of flexible loads in the distributed transaction market can effectively improve on the utilization rate of renewable energy, absorb wind power, reduce the operation and electricity costs of market members, ensure the safety of the power grid, and reduce the impact of distributed power sources on the power grid. In this paper, the interaction model including three types of flexible loads in power systems are established firstly, and then the distributed transaction mechanism is established according to the existing market environment. The example cases are based on a day’s transaction in a certain area, and the results show that the interaction of flexible load can effectively achieve peak cutting and valley filling and absorb new energy output.
