Performance Evaluation of Energy Optimization Techniques for WSN Based Environment

The primary aim is to Minimizing energy consumption and increasing the durability of the sensor network. The implementation of hierarchical routing can efficiently decrease energy usage within a cluster through the process of data aggregation and fusion, ultimately leading to a reduction in the number of messages transmitted to the base station. The generation of optimal clusters is contingent upon the execution of cluster head selection and cluster formation procedures. It is recommended to minimize the quantity of messages exchanged while simultaneously ensuring that the overall time complexity remains stable and unaffected by the expansion of the network. The objective of this investigation is to optimize energy efficiency through the elimination of the setup phase for cluster head selection, which is based on the criterion of maximum residual energy. Instead, the study proposes to proceed with the steady phase until the average energy of the cluster is attained. The principal objective of this study is to enhance energy efficiency and prolong the longevity of the network. Numerous techniques have been proposed for the purpose of optimizing energy, such as LEACH, HEED, and EECS. However, our proposed approach is deemed superior and more precise. A comparative analysis has been conducted to support this assertion.
