Efficiency Improvement of Electrical Vehicles Using Novel Permanent Magnet Motors and Compared with BLDC Motors by Reducing Power Loss

The aim of this research is to compare the efficiency of electric vehicles using permanent magnet motors to that of BLDC motors by minimizing power loss. The permanent magnet motor and BLDC motor are used to increase energy efficiency by lowering power loss. There are two groups considered: group 1 is for permanent magnet motors with varying power loss values, and group 2 is for BLDC motors with varying power loss values. There are 20 samples in each group, for a total of 40 sample sizes. The calculated G power is 0.8. From the obtained results, there was a statistically significant difference of 0.001 (p 0.05) between the two groups. The revolutionary permanent magnet motor classifier achieved an energy efficiency rate of 64.97%, whereas the BLDC motor classifier achieved a rate of 24.32%. A revolutionary permanent magnet motor outperforms the BLDC motor in terms of energy efficiency. A BLDC motor has substantial switching losses at the same switching frequency. Switching losses are lower in new Permanent magnet motors. From this work, the permanent magnet motor has a greater energy efficiency than the BLDC motor due to lower power loss.
