Real-Time Innovative Power Consumption Surveillance System for Residential and Industrial Application

In this research study, the energy usage of equipment present in residential and commercial buildings is monitored and managed by using a novel IoT-based energy metre system. The proposed system gathers data on energy usage from various appliances by using a smart energy metre connected to an internet-connected gateway. Further, the data is analysed to reveal the patterns of energy consumption, efforts are made to maximize energy efficiency and minimize waste. Through a simple interface, the system provides real-time monitoring, remote control, and reporting capabilities. By lowering energy waste, boosting energy efficiency, and supporting sustainable energy management practices, the IoT-based energy metre system benefits power providers, consumers, and the environment in a big way.
