Energy Monitoring in Solar-Powered Buildings Using Internet of Things

One of the latest techniques for bridging the gap between the real world and the digital one is the Internet of Things (IoT). Monitoring of electrical and physical factors is made easier by IoT. There are a number of issues with the existing techniques that are used for solar-powered building energy monitoring. Traditional energy monitoring systems are sometimes too expensive for many customers, requiring complicated installations, expensive gear, and specialized software. These systems could also be unable to give accurate, real-time data on usage, which would restrict their capacity to spot potential energy-saving possibilities. The goal of this research is to create a low-cost, Wi-Fi-enabled energy monitoring device for solar-powered buildings that will allow for daily and weekly study of electricity use. The objective is to develop an IoT system that supports sustainability and energy efficiency by offering real-time monitoring and insights into power consumption. From the results, users may learn more about their energy use routines, identify peak consumption times, and spot irregularities or inefficiencies. By enabling consumers to make knowledgeable choices and put energy-saving measures into practice, this lowers total electricity usage, encourages sustainability and helps in the creation of a greener networked IoT system.
