Design and Analysis of an Umbrella Deployable Antenna for Space-Borne SAR

According to the structure characteristics of cassegrain umbrella antenna, a kind of deployable mechanism with double rotating guide bar and rope mechanism is proposed to solve the problem of the deployable antenna of space-borne SAR. The spreading mechanism can be divided into two rotating guide rod mechanisms; The mathematical modeling and structural design analysis of the expansion mechanism are established. The complex vector method is used to model the mechanism motion, and the relationship between the moving speed of the guide rod and the developing angular speed of the antenna rib is obtained. The motion simulation of antenna rib deployable mechanism is carried out by ADAMS software, and the correctness of antenna deployable mechanism design is verified.
