A 6.75ns single level metal CMOS 16x16 multiplier IC

In this paper we describe a 16x16 bits multiplier IC fabricated in a CMOS technology having only one level of metallization. Typical multiplication time of 6.7511s at 3.3V power supply has been measured and better results are expected from process optimized for 0.51yn devices.
