Design of Steerable Antenna Cluster for VANET, Wi-Fi, and WiMAX networks

n this study, the planning, fabrication and enquiry of a pattern steering and toggling antenna for use in wireless networking technologies such as VANET, Wi-Fi, and WiMAX are presented. A heart shaped patch, four radiating components, and a square shaped planar ground make up the reconfigurable antenna that has been suggested. The antenna receives its power from a coaxial cable. A Rogers RT5880 substrate served as the foundation for the antenna's construction. The following is a rundown of its dimensions: 0.82λ0x0.82λ0x0.03λ0. It does this by managing the engagement and de-engaging of four PIN diodes, which are used to alter the orientation of the beam, and it does this while maintaining the same frequency. This gives it the ability to execute six different reconfigurable operational modes. The transmitter is modelled as a conceptual equivalent circuit, and this design is extracted. A detailed study of how to improve the antenna's typical characteristics is presented here. The observed bandwidth of the suggested antenna is 9.977%, whereas the computed/modelled bandwidth is 10.582%, and the measured bandwidth is 10.241%. (Theoretical). The developed antenna has a peak gain of 10.527dB for each of the pattern Stage s, and its efficiency ratio is exceptional, ranging from 87% to 97% over the whole working range (5 GHz–6 GHz). The suggested beam and band toggle antenna goes through the manufacturing process. The findings that were measured, simulated, and theorized are reported, and they demonstrate high agreement across the board, including the coefficient of reflection (S11) and radiating shape.
