Assessing the Power System Distribution Network's Performance and Future Prospects

Power system is an interconnection of different electrical equipment having a power flow occurring through them. Energy demand has become an integral right of consumers around the world. This research study aims to present an analysis of a power system network of a deemed university situated in Punjab, India. This study tried to simulate the said network with the actual system data and also aim to analyze the network performance during fault condition and load switching operations. The simulation work is carried out using MATLAB/SIMULINK. This study also presents some of future prospects that can possibly be integrated with the said power system network.
