Research on Load Restoration Method for AC/DC Distribution Systems Considering Reliability

Flexible power electronic devices need to be connected between the DC distribution system and the AC distribution system to form an AC/DC hybrid system. However, the frequent occurrence of extreme weather poses a higher demand for effective and reliable load restoration strategies and methods for ACIDC hybrid distribution systems. At present, there is little research on the reliability of reconstructed AC and DC distribution networks for distribution network load restoration. Therefore, this article proposes a load restoration method for AC/DC distribution systems that considers reliability. Firstly, a modified explicit reliability evaluation model was established; Secondly, an optimization model for load restoration was established with the highest reliability and the maximum amount of recovered power loss load as the objective functions; Finally, a simulation comparison was conducted in a numerical example to verify the effectiveness of the optimization method proposed in this paper.
