Research on the Debugging Strategy of Doubly Fed Variable Speed Pumped Storage Units

Developing a scientific startup and debugging plan is a difficult problem that needs to be solved. Starting and debugging the generator can grasp the operating characteristics of the variable speed pumped storage generator and ensure its normal operation. Based on the basic principle analysis of variable speed pumped storage units, debugging strategy for doubly fed variable speed pumped storage unit is proposed in this paper. Analyze the roles and risks of each debugging project, and provide a safe and reliable debugging process for energy storage units. The strategy presented in this article was applied to debug a variable speed pumped storage power station in the southern power grid region. The shortcomings of the equipment were identified and corresponding solutions were provided, ensuring the normal operation of the pumped storage power station. It can provide reference for subsequent variable speed unit debugging and has important engineering value.
