Fabrication of SnS₂ nanomesh based energy efficient NO₂ gas sensor using CVD

optimization of chemo-resistive gas sensors suitable for portable devices to minimize power consumption is always challenging. In this study, we reported the fabrication of SnS2 nanomesh-based nanosensors using the one-step CVD method to detect NO2 at a low operating temperature range. Due to the growth of nanomesh structures of SnS2, these nanosensors are able to detect 50 ppm NO2 gas concentration with ~33% relative sensor response at 75°C operating temperature. This sensor also demonstrates fast recovery time even at RT.
