Optimization of Solar-Wind Hybrid Energy System with IoT-based Source Selector for Enhanced Power Generation in Smart Homes

The purpose of this research paper is to introduce a new method for enhancing the efficiency of a solar-wind energy system that is utilized to operate household appliances. This is achieved by implementing an Internet of Things (IoT) based source selector. The integrated system utilizes solar and wind energy sources and incorporates a sophisticated source selector that automatically switches between the available sources based on their power output and the load demand. The proposed system aims to optimize energy consumption by minimizing waste and reducing electricity expenses. The system utilizes advanced optimization techniques to determine the optimal power output from each energy source in order to achieve the desired outcome. Furthermore, an Internet of Things (IoT) control system has been integrated to enable effortless monitoring and management of energy flow. The results of the experiment indicate that the proposed system is efficient in providing the necessary power to household appliances, resulting in notable reductions in energy consumption and costs.
