Analysis of the MyECO Office Workspace Lighting System and Smart Lighting Implementation

Designing a building requires considering both natural and artificial illumination. The workstation of the myECO office, an Internet of Things (IoT) start-up that places a high priority on environmental sustainability. In this office, staff members frequently use computers and laptops. It may be inferred that the myECO office workstation needs a relatively high light intensity with a cool white color temperature. This study aims to evaluate the myECO office workstation lighting system and propose solutions. Analyzing a case study object is one of the qualitative procedures used in data collection strategies. Through the use of pertinent papers and direct interviews, as well as the Lightmeter and DIALux Evo applications, descriptive data is gathered. The outcomes demonstrate that the light intensity produced still needs to be improved. The temperature is within the acceptable range. According to the length of the space, a solution is provided by adding two horizontally positioned bulbs, which are equipped with a smart home application feature.
