Research on Prediction of Hard Landing for Aircraft Based on Ridge Regression

In the process of civil aviation, many safety management concepts and advanced technologies have been used to improve the safe operation level of airlines.QAR records the huge amount of data of the flight process and is favored by everyone. However, accident analysis needs to be combined with other multi-dimensional flight operation data, and pilots are more inclined to focus on risk before flight rather than post-flight analysis. This article focuses on hard landing accidents, based on historical flight operation data, and uses Multiple Linear Regression and Ridge Regression analysis methods to study the functional relationship between landing load and other factors that cause hard landing, forming a hard landing prediction model.This model can be used to guide the risk management of actual flight operation. Pilots could understand the risk points and controllable variables in the landing process of the flight before the flight, so as to formulate sufficient flight plans.And they take control measures during the landing process to reduce the possibility of hard landing.
