Experimental Analysis for Energy Aware Effective Multi Hop Routing in Vehicular Adhoc Networks

Ad Hoc network are general a temporary infrastructure based wireless communication medium where it connects huge mobile devices in centralized manner. The connectivity among the vehicles is highly random so that an effective network model becomes very essential to handle the rapid mobility. For that purpose, Vehicular Ad Hoc networks (VANETs) are developed and it contains self-configured infrastructures to perform effective wireless communication. At the recent stage in VANETs effective solutions are needed for certain issues such as road side accident, congestion control and safety driving. For that certain parameters are need to get improved such as Quality of Service (QoS), delivery rate, link stability and efficiency in time-bound communication. For that purpose, in this article Energy Aware Effective Multi Hop Routing (EAEMR) which mainly concentrates on providing parameters-based link prediction and Kalman Filter based multi-hop communication among the vehicles. The simulation of this model is carried out in NS2 and is results are compared with the earlier works like MRGA-VANET's and LRMC-VANET's where the parameters which are involved in this evaluation are packet delivery ratio, end to end delay, energy efficiency and routing overhead. From the results it is understood that the proposed EAEMR attained maximum delivery ratio and energy efficiency and on the other hand minimum delay and throughput which greatly increased the overall QoS of the vehicular communication.
