Optimization of Auxiliary Circuit Devices with Lowest Loss in Auxiliary Resonant Commutated Pole Inverter

The auxiliary resonant commutated pole inverter (ARCPI) is an extremely important soft switching inverter topology structure, which can achieve independent control of the inverter main circuit switch and auxiliary circuit switch, and effectively utilize the principle of auxiliary circuit resonance to reduce system losses and improve system performance. This paper aims to reduce soft switch motor control system losses, analyze the loss model of ARCPI in detail, and select the optimal auxiliary resonant circuit devices based on loss model to achieve the goal of low loss and high efficiency design of the system. Finally, simulation was conducted to verify the impact of different parameters on system performance, demonstrating the necessity of selecting the optimal system parameters.
