Optimal Design of Induction Machine for Spindle Motor Considering Rotor Conductor Bar Porosity

This paper focuses on the impact of porosity on the reliability and structural robustness of Induction Machines used in high-precision applications. The proposed method investigates the influence of porosity electromagnetic field performance through the position and shape variables in Step 1. In Step 2, find a robust conductor bar shape that can withstand this porosity. The study proposes an optimal design approach to mitigate these effects by considering electromagnetic field performance and porosity sensitivity analysis.
