A Dynamic Power Distribution Method With Parameter Prediction for Electric Vehicle Hybrid Power System

The hybrid power system consisting of battery with high energy density and supercapacitor with high power density has been widely used in electric vehicles. However, the supply-demand power imbalance between the hybrid power system and the load would affect the energy utilization efficiency of the system the system during operation. In this paper, a power tracking control strategy considering the comprehensive efficiency of the system is proposed to solve unreasonable power distribution between energy storage elements. The hybrid power supply model and the parameter prediction model are established, respectively. Afterward, the energy transfer during system operation is analyzed in detail. From the perspective of maximizing stored energy and minimizing released energy, the objective optimization function is deduced. The power distribution ratio is solved under the constraints in real time. Simulation and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed dynamic power distribution method.
