Abstract:
Skin electronics for health monitoring require materials and devices with unique properties such as biocompatibility, flexibility, and high sensitivity. In this work, we describe our recent work in exploiting piezoelectric thin films, based on either aluminum nitride (A1N) or chitosan biopolymers, for skin-compliant transducers to record biomechanical signals on skin.
