Explainable Microaggression Detector for Improving Doctor – Patient Interactions

The research proposes an explainable Microaggression (MA) detection system, build from MA instances collected from real-life experience and TV shows, and trained with models providing varying degrees of contextual awareness. The idea is to test the model’s efficiency on Doctors’ Medical Notes to patients, hence contributing to enhancing patients’ trust in their doctors and thus improving doctor-patient interaction.
