Optimal Relay Selection Method Based on Quantum Black Hole Algorithm

Choosing the appropriate relay nodes for obtaining the best system performance in cooperative communication networks is a classical integer optimization problem. To obtain the optimal relay selection scheme, we propose a novel method called quantum black hole algorithm (QBHA). QBHA combines the advantages of the black hole algorithm (BHA) and quantum computation techniques. Hence, QBHA can obtain the best relay selection scheme. Simulation experiments have been conducted to validate the effectiveness of our relay selection scheme based on QBHA. These experiments have shown that QBHA can successfully identify the global optimal relay selection scheme, outperforming other relay selection schemes.
