Internet-Based Regular Motion Technique for Quadcopter Optimization

The flying height of an object can be measured using an altimetry measuring instrument. In addition to using this tool, flight altitude can also be obtained from the Kalman filter calculations. The flight altitude calculated using the Kalman filter utilizes magnetic field sensor data, accelerometer, and gyroscope. In this study, data from the accelerometer sensor on the z-axis is used in calculations using a modified uniformly changing linear motion formula. This method is implemented on Android-based software on a smartphone carried by a quadcopter that sends data using the internet network to other software on smartphones on land. Smartphones flown by quadcopter will provide accurate data if placed horizontally with an accuracy rate of 91.07%. Based on the distance used in the application test, the highest accuracy is obtained from the z-axis value of 10,901 with an actual height of 10.2 ft and is the same as the results displayed on the software of the research results
