Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) Model of Power Management System Function Using Artificial Neural Network (ANN)

Based on the application of the ship power management system, the purpose of this work is to provide a method for operating an autonomous voltage regulator. To maintain the steady state of the system, this research focuses on the issue of active and reactive power regulation, and it presents simplified models of key components employed in the control system. Maintaining voltage and frequency within specified limits is a primary goal of this control technique, along with ensuring the most cost-effective and reliable power generation and distribution. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of an integral controller-tested method for Automatic Voltage Regulator Control alongside an Artificial Intelligence Technique-based. Simulation findings indicate that the suggested Neural Network Controller provides superior performance in comparison to the standard PID controller.
