Enhancing Track And Trace: A Blockchain Use-Case In Supply Chain Management Systems

This paper presents a revolutionary approach to supply chain management that uses real-time tracking on a blockchain platform with dynamic QR code updates. The proposed system combines a number of cutting-edge technologies and uses AWS cloud services to enable the continuous flow of information across the supply chain, providing stakeholders with unmatched visibility and traceability of things. Key advantage is using a hash value to be attached for every new product to be shipped; this helps in keeping up with the live tracking in a much more efficient and organized manner. The use of dynamic QR code updates is one of the study's major advances. Each product or cargo is given a special QR code that contains pertinent data about the item, such as its origin, quality, and history of transit. Every time the product passes through a checkpoint in the supply chain, the QR code is scanned and updated, ensuring that all parties have access to the most recent, correct information. With the help of this dynamic updating mechanism, information asymmetry is eliminated, transparency is improved, and decision-making is made easier and faster.
