Design and Implementation of an IoT-Based system for Milk Quality Testing

Milk is composed of 87% water and 13% protein, fat, carbohydrate, vitamin, and mineral content. The most contaminated commodity in the world is milk and milk products. Simple adulterants (water) can be added to natural milk to achieve adulteration. As a result, adulteration greatly lowers the nutritional value of milk. Some milk parameters like pH, TDS, fat, and water content are affected. Physical-chemical tests are used in the dairy industry to monitor milk quality and it is a time-consuming process. As an outcome, these factors need to be examined. A pH meter and a TDS sensor are used to measure the pH and TDS levels, respectively. The fat and water content are measured using an LDR sensor and an electrical-type lactometer. The measured parameters are sent through NodeMCU and it can be monitored in IoT from any location.
