Research on the key technology of lightning protection for ±1100kV UHV DC transmission lines

In recent years, in order to meet the huge demand for electricity brought about by economic development, many ultra-high voltage project lines in China have been built one after another, alternating vertically and horizontally, gradually forming a large-scale high-voltage trunk line network. transmission project in the world, there is a lack of relevant standards and operational experience. Lightning strikes as the most profound influence on the stable operation of the current transmission line. This paper conducts an in-depth study on how to protect the ±1100kV UHV DC transmission line from lightning, combining lightning protection technology and geographical factors to develop a series of theoretical analysis and verification, hoping to provide some reference value for the national lightning protection technology research.
