Analysis on the online switching control strategy of the third station of the Lu-Gao-Zhao multi-terminal conventional DC

Compared with the traditional two-terminal HVDC transmission system,the conventional multi-terminal HVDC transmission system has the advantages of flexible operation mode,and its unique third station online switching function can quickly realize the single station switching,quickly isolate the faulty site and minimize the damage to the normal site.It can significantly reduce the power outage time of the system and effectively improve the working efficiency of the DC transmission system.Therefore,based on the background of Lu-Gao-Zhao DC,this paper analyzes the control strategy for the online input of the third station of conventional multi-terminal DC,and puts forward improvement suggestions for its existing problems,so as to provide a reference direction for the future development of multi-terminal DC transmission technology.
