The Removable Unit of Control and Navigation for the Fire-Extinguishing Bomb

The removable unit of a fire extinguishing bomb navigation and control system is considered. For bombing efficiency, an elongated tail fairing with a GPS navigation receiver and a micromechanical strapdown inertial system is mounted on a conventional fire-extinguishing bomb. The algorithm for complex processing of information from these navigation systems is proposed, based on an improved method of mutual compensation. The complex navigation system forms the trajectory of the product's drop as a “pre-attack” weapon, which significantly improves the efficiency of the subsequent use of traditional aviation fire extinguishing systems.
