Control logic design and application for large scale helium cryogenic refrigerator on CODAC system

The Comprehensive Research Facility for Fusion Technology (CRAFT), as a large-scale scientific research facility led by Institute of Plasma Physics, aims to study and verify the key technologies of the fusion reactor host. The 1kW/4.5K helium refrigerator process and control logic, control architecture, classification and description of the control logic were mainly introduced in this paper. The preliminary construction of the control system based on Control, Data Access and Communication (CODAC) was completed, including continuous control logic, interlock control logic, and supervisory control logic, and the automatic control of vacuum pump group was used as an example to show the implementation of control logic.
