Scalable Service Oriented V2X Data Format over 5G-NR-V2X

This article provides a description of the Scalable Service Oriented V2X (SSOV) Data Format implemented within the context of the 5G-NR-V2X framework. In this study, we introduce a novel system designed to facilitate the development and assessment of self-driving services. The system leverages On-Board Units (OBU) and Roadside Units (RSU) for 5G-NR-V2X communication, specifically targeting vehicles operating at level 4 autonomy or higher. The system aims to provide ultra-high-speed communication, with a minimum data rate of 150Mbps, as well as ultra-low latency, ensuring a delay of 3ms or less. Additionally, the system prioritizes high reliability, aiming for a communication robustness satisfaction level of 99.99 percent, even under malicious conditions. Various applications are employed to achieve these objectives. The proposed SSOV data format outlined in this study is expected to facilitate the advancement of ultrafast, ultralow-delay, and high-confidence V2X communication technologies. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the services verified by the proposed data format will augment technical competitiveness within the domains of road infrastructure, transportation systems, logistical operations, and commercial enterprises.
