Self-Powered Pressure Sensor Based on Flexible Magnetic Material

In this article, we present a self-powered pressure sensor based on flexible permanent magnetic material. The sensor consists of two main components: a magnetic soft block and a coil. The magnetic part is composed of PMDS and Nd
2
Fe
14
B, with the addition of NH
4
HCO
3
to adjust its hardness. The coil is made of copper foil. According to the principle of electromagnetic induction, the sensor can generate voltage signals when pressure is applied on the magnetic polymer. The magnetic material is designed in the form of a hollow semicircular structure, enabling the detection of parameters such as pressing speed and pressing strength. The testing results demonstrate that the device exhibits timely response to applied pressure, detects instantaneous impact force, operates without the need for an external power supply, and enables wireless detection. These findings indicate promising applications in the fields of machinery manufacturing, human-computer interaction, and wearable devices.
