Research on new technology for on-line measurement of external insulation creepage distance

The creepage distance of the external insulation of high voltage equipment is an important parameter to ensure the safe operation of the power grid.At present,the measurement of creepage distance is carried out when the equipment is powered off.Manual measurement is required.The measurement data has large errors and the data verification cycle is long,which cannot meet the requirements of power grid equipment management.In this paper,three-dimensional laser scanning technology is used to detect the creepage distance of the external insulation.Accurate measurement data can be obtained,and the creepage distance live detection method is innovated.This new technology can be popularized and applied.
