A new traffic model integrating headway deviation and predictive feedback control under V2X environment

By integrating headway deviation and predictive feedback control, we in this study provide a new traffic model under V2X environment. Then, the traffic stability conditions are derived to acquire the feedback gain range involving the response coefficient of the headway deviation. Simulation results show that the space-time and speed variation become smoother by cooperating headway deviation and predictive feedback control, which means that new consideration mitigates traffic jams under V2X environment. Also, one disturbance and multiple disturbances scenario is investigated for both space-time and speed variation with similar change trend.
